2008 CT_190
     K. S. Noll, Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA; W. M. Grundy, Lowell
Observatory; and S. D. Benecchi, Planetary Science Institute, report the
detection of a binary companion to the transneptunian object 2008 CT_190.
They observed 2008 CT_190 starting on 2012 May 18.97928 UT with the Wide Field
Camera 3 on the Hubble Space Telescope. Three dithered observations were
made, two in the F606W filter bracketing one in the F814W filter. The images
show a partially resolved binary with the components along an axis that is
aligned approximately east-west. Point-spread-functoin fits yield a
consistent result for all three images with two components separated by
0".053 +/- 0".008 with the component to the upper right of the image (west)
being fainter by 0.4 +/- 0.3 mag.
