COMET C/2018 W2 (Africano)
This object was reported as a comet by B. Africano (G96), who described a
compact 5"-8" core with a potential tail extending several arcsecond in P.A.
255-260. A later report received from H. Groeller (703) described a 5"-7"
compact coma and apparent tail in P.A. 230-300. D. T. Durig (850, Nov. 28)
reported a 10" tail in P.A. 260 in poor conditions. K. Korlevic (L01, Nov. 29)
reported a 11" coma and a 9" tail in P.A. 270.
