(250162) 2002 TY_57
     P. Pravec, P. Kusnirak, K. Hornoch, P. Fatka, and H. Kucakova, Ondrejov
Observatory, report that photometric observations taken with a 1.54-m
telescope at the La Silla station of the European Southern Observatory during
Nov. 10-Dec. 10 reveal that the Amor-type minor planet (250162) is a binary
system with an orbital period of 10.765 +/- 0.005 hr.  The primary shows a
period of 2.5001 +/- 0.0003 hr and has a light-curve amplitude of 0.09 mag at
solar phase 9 degrees, suggesting a nearly spheroidal shape.  Mutual
eclipse/occultation events that are 0.03 to 0.07 magnitude deep indicate a
lower limit on the secondary-to-primary mean-diameter ratio of 0.18.  The
mean absolute magnitude of the whole system (outside the mutual events) is
H = 19.69 +/- 0.05 with the phase-relation slope parameter G = 0.34 +/- 0.05.
