2014 LQ_28
     S. S. Sheppard, Carnegie Institution for Science, Washington, DC; and A.
Thirouin, Lowell Observatory, report the discovery of a satellite orbiting
the trans-Neptunian minor planet 2014 LQ_28. CCD r-band images from the
6.5-m Magellan telescope show the object as two separate components of
about 0.4 magnitudes in difference; the magnitude of 2014 LQ_28 was r = 21.4
on 2016 Sept. 28 UT and r = 21.5 on 2017 Oct. 18. The two components were
0".86 apart on 2016 Sept. 28 in position angle 144 degrees, and 0".36 apart
in p.a. 333 degrees on 2017 Oct. 18.
