             COMET P/2005 CR16 = 2003 WR168 = 2020 W2 (NEAT-LINEAR)             

     D. Rankin reported the discovery of a comet in survey images taken by
Mount Lemmon Survey (G96) obtained on Nov. 16 UT. He reported a 9" condensed
coma in good seeing conditions.  Subsequent follow-up astrometry and improved
orbits allowed the MPC to find prediscovery positions and link the object to
multi-opposition minor planet 2005 CR16 = 2003 WR168. C. Hergenrother
reexamined astrometry of 2005 CR16 from Catalina Station (693) images on Mar. 8
2005 and reported a diffuse 20" coma.  S. Deen found unreported astrometry of
2005 CR16 in Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (568) from Apr. 11 2005 and also
reported a diffuse appearance of the object.  Additional reports of cometary
