                            COMET C/2020 X2 (ATLAS)                             

    A. Heinze reports the discovery of a comet in the images obtained
by ATLAS-MLO survey (T08) on Dec. 10 UT. He reports a condensed 4".5
coma. Several prediscovery positions were subsequently reported going
back to Sept. 2020. Additional reports of cometary features are as follows:
