COMET P/2013 J4 (PANSTARRS) = P/2019 Y2 (FULS)
M. Meyer, Limburg, Germany, reports that S. Deen (location unknown)
suggested that comet P/2013 J4 (cf. CBET 3521) and comet P/2019 Y2 (cf. CBET
4709) are the same object. S. Nakano, Sumoto, Japan, has confirmed the
identification, and his orbital elements below are from 659 observations
spanning 2013 May 5-2020 May 29 (mean residual 0".6). Note that the 2013
apparition had only a one-week arc of astrometry, and even a parabolic orbit
can satisfy those observations alone; however, an orbit from the current
apparition by Nakano that was published in NK 4128 give residuals for the
2013 observations of -0.05 degree (mainly in R.A.), with Delta(T) correction
+0.20 day. The comet passed 0.34 AU from Jupiter on 2010 Nov. 26 UT; prior
to that close approach, the orbit was somewhat larger, with the following
approximate orbital elements provided by Nakano for the previous return:

The following updated ephemeris by the undersigned from the above elements
extends that on CBET 4709 (photometric power-law parameters H = 13.0 and 2.5n
= 10 used for the magnitudes, which are about two magnitudes brighter than
the reported magnitudes in 2013).
