COMET C/2022 J2 (BOK)
     An apparently asteroidal object discovered in the course of the Bok
survey in CCD images obtained with the Kitt Peak 2.25-m reflector, and
designated A/2022 J2 when announced on MPEC 2022-K80 (discovery observations
tabulated below), has been found to show cometary appearance in images taken
on June 26.3 UT by K. J. Meech, E. Bufanda, J. Kleyna, and J. V. Keane with
the 3.6-m Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope at Mauna Kea, with measurements by M.
Micheli and Kleyna showing a coma of diameter about 2".5 (magnitude about 22)
and a tail about 10" long in p.a. about 100 degrees in 1".0 seeing.

Additional astrometry appears on MPEC 2022-M98.  The following unperturbed
orbital elements by S. Nakano (Central Bureau) are from 48 observations
spanning May 9-June 26 (mean residual 0".4) and indicate that the comet will
pass 1.94 AU from Jupiter on 2023 Aug. 12 and 4.54 AU from Saturn in 2025
April.

The following ephemeris by the undersigned from the above orbital elements
uses photometric power-law parameters H = 16.5 and 2.5n = 8 for the
