COMET P/2023 X3 (PANSTARRS)
Y. Ramanjooloo reports the discovery of a comet in three 45-second w-band
survey images taken on Dec. 7 UT by Pan-STARRS 2 (F52), noting a very diffuse
2".1 coma and a straight 3" tail at position angle 240 deg. Prediscovery
positions were reported back to Oct. 2023. Additional reports of cometary
