COMET C/2023 V3 (PANSTARRS)
R. Weryk reports the discovery of a comet in four 45-second w-band survey
images taken on Nov. 3 UT by Pan-STARRS 1 (F51), noting a diffuse 0".5 coma
and a straight 4" tail at position angle 280 deg. H. Sato reported a very
condensed 4" coma and a broad 10" tail at position angle 265-315 deg observed
on 10 stacked 120-second exposures taken on Nov. 6 UT at iTelescope Deep Sky
Chile (X07). Prediscovery positions were reported back to Sep. 2023.
