                          COMET C/2023 Q1 (PANSTARRS)                           

     P. Veres found an object in the isolated tracklet file, linking five 
tracklets on 5 distinct nights from Aug. 20 to Sep. 20 UT, showing a near-
parabolic orbit. Subsequently, R. Weryk analyzed the Pan-STARRS 1 (F51) images
from Aug. 20, noting a very condensed 0".2 tail in three 45-second w-band
survey images. R. Weryk also found prediscovery positions back to Jul. 2023 UT.
