(48470) 1991 TC_2
     B. D. Warner, Center for Solar System Studies, Landers, CA, U.S.A, repors
that photometric observations taken with a 0.35-m telescope at the Center for
Solar System Studies from 2023 Sept. 28 through Oct. 9 reveal that the
Hungaria-group minor planet (48470) is a binary system with an orbital period
of 11.179 +/- 0.004 hours. The primary shows a period of 2.5141 +/- 0.0002
hours and an asymmetrical (different minimum depths) bi-modal lightcurve with
a maximum peak-to-peak amplitude of 0.11 mag at solar phase angles 13-6 deg.
Mutual eclipse/occultation events that are 0.08 to 0.09 magnitudes deep
indicate a lower limit of 0.28 +/- 0.02 for the secondary-to-primary mean-
diameter ratio. Lightcurves are available at the following website URL:
http://www.planetarysciences.org/plots/BDW/48470_1991TC2_20230926.PNG.
