NEW NUMBERINGS OF SHORT-PERIOD COMETS
     Further to CBET 5332, the following permanent numbers have been assigned
to short-period comets based upon their being securely observed at multiple
returns to perihelion.  Note that MPEC 2024-B74 erroneously gave the 2023
designation of 474P/2017 O4 as P/2023 S4 (instead of the proper P/2023 X5;
cf. CBET 5341); and MPEC 2024-F76 erroneously gave the 2010 designation of
483P/2016 J1 as P/2010 M9 (instead of the proper P/2010 G7 because of Deen's
previously reported observations from April 2010; cf. CBET 5367).
