The Minor Planet Electronic Circulars contain information on unusual
minor planets, routine data on comets and natural satellites,
and occasional editorial announcements. They are published

The Minor Planet Center (MPC) is announcing a minor update to the digest2
code. The updated code will become operational on Feb 1 at 00:00 UTC. The digest2
score is used by the MPC to score tracklets submitted to NEOCP: only tracklets
with scores above 65 can be posted to NEOCP.

The latest update includes a bug fix in digest2.c source code, an updated
population model reflecting the MPCORB catalog from Jan 22, 2024 (1.34 million
orbits), and the addition of three observatory codes with expected astrometric
uncertainties.

The digest2 code can be downloaded from the following Bitbucket repository:
https://bitbucket.org/mpcdev/digest2
The population model and the configuration file with the obscodes can be
downloaded from https://bitbucket.org/mpcdev/digest2/downloads/
