EDITORIAL NOTICE: DELETION OF 2023 JW34

The designation 2023 JW34, announced in MPEC 2024-J115 on May 7, 2024 UT
and published in MPS 2171498, is being deleted. Initially reported by the
Catalina Sky Survey on May 13, 2023 UT, it was posted on the NEOCP and followed
up by the Steward Observatory, Mt. Lemmon Station the same night. Due to
insufficient follow-up and a short observation arc, it was removed from the
NEOCP on May 21, 2023. The object was later designated in an attempt to confirm
short-arc NEOCP candidates with potentially reliable orbits. However, Bill Gray
identified a likely geocentric orbit for 2023 JW34, similar to other
uncatalogued ETBO objects. Consequently, the designation 2023 JW34 is being
deleted and will be listed as omitted.
