                            COMET C/2024 M1 (ATLAS)                             

     H. Sato reports cometary activity of an asteroidal NEOCP candidate (first
reported by ATLAS Chile - W68 on Jun. 29 UT) on 8 stacked 30-second
follow-up exposures taken on Jul. 3 UT, noting a very condensed 7" coma.
Prediscovery positions were reported back to 2022. Additional reports of
cometary features are as follows:
