     The Minor Planet Electronic Circulars contain information on unusual
         minor planets, routine data on comets and natural satellites,
         and occasional editorial announcements.  They are published
    on behalf of Division F of the International Astronomical Union by the
          Minor Planet Center, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory,

                                EDITORIAL NOTICE                                

     Due to technical issues, the creation and distribution of the Daily Orbit
Update (MPEC 2024-F97) did not occur properly. Subsequent attempts to recreate
the DOU resulted in the creation of a new DOU (MPEC 2024-F98) containing only
a pair of observations of 2024 FG2, but lacking the previously missing
observations and orbits. The MPC has restored and redistributed MPEC 2024-F97,
and as a result, is retracting MPEC 2024-F98. The observations of 2024 FG2 will
be included in the forthcoming DOU.
